"No questions." said Tom.
"Very good." said Sgt Sweet. "One more thing. You'll be encountering other personnel here. Someone in a wetsuit isn't too out of place here, but the visor is a bit much. Dr. Conrad sent Dr. Farquharson the specs to remove it. I believe there's an upgrade waiting for you when we get back."
"Thank you sir." said Tom, not exactly sure what to say to that.
"I have to go, but I'll be back later." said Sgt Sweet as he left. Tom heard him say "He is ready for the removal." to someone else outside of his room.
Tom was once again left with only his thoughts.

The display in Tom's visor displayed a text that only Tom could see. "I HEARD YOU LOST CONSCIOUSNESS DURING TEST. WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?"
The visor had been silent for some time. It had been displaying "connection lost" since they moved to the cabin, but was now reconnected. Maybe there was a better connection here. Or the person transmitting to him was nearby.
"I don't remember." said Tom out loud, again reaffirming what he had previously told Sgt Sweet.
The visor displayed another text after a few minutes. "FINE. I WILL FIND OUT WHEN I VIEW THE VIDEOS."
Tom started worrying even more. "Was that a good 'FINE' or an angry 'FINE'?" he thought. "Although it seems whoever views the visor really has no idea what happened down there."
Dr Farquharson walked into the room "Tom? We are ready for your procedure."

Tom woke up. He was seeing with his own eyes, not filtered through any visor. His hands felt his face. He was still wearing the neoprene hood of the wetsuit, but his whole face was once again visible.
Tom's recovery was uneventful. He rested, he was monitored, the central line was removed, the catheter was removed, he put the wetsuit shorts back on to look more decent, and a nurse took him by wheelchair the the private cabin that he had been promised.
He was finally completely alone. Not even someone who might be watching through his visor. "I've got to do something about those video recordings!" he thought to himself.

Sgt Sweet handed Tom a badge on a lanyard. "You can go to places like the gym, the mess hall, or sickbay if you need, but don't go anywhere sensitive; I can't help you if you do."
Sgt Sweet pointed to a book on the table. "That's the emergency procedures. You should review it anyway, but it has a map to help you find those places. I'm going to see if maybe someone who works here is available to give you a tour."
Sgt Sweet unclipped a radio from his belt. "Here's a radio; I set it to our own private frequency. You can call me on it if you need anything. Only we will know it unless we give it someone else."
Sgt. Sweet put the radio on the table. "Anything else?
Tom was taking all this in "Negative, sir, thank you."
"Ok, you probably want to rest, you're looking kind of pale."
Sgt Sweet left, and Tom was totally alone again.
"I got to destroy those videos." He thought to himself. "But I don't have any idea of where they are or even on what kind of physical media they are on. But it does sound like we and the equipment are going in the same vehicle back to the hotel so maybe there'll be a better chance in the future."
He considered his other options: "The gym, the mess hall, or sickbay. I could make some excuse for checking back into sickbay; it wouldn't even be too farfetched. Dr. Farquharson seems to have been brought into the loop, but also seems loose-lipped if asked the right way."
He considered radioing back Sgt Sweet "I know he said the wetsuit wouldn't be too out of place, but maybe ask for something less conspicuous to wear over it. Or maybe I want to pump him for more information? Or just come clean?" he mulled his options.
"And what about Kyle/Jayden? I know he was on this ship because he was also in sickbay. But why did he put me in this situation? What was the last thing he said to me? 'I really did like you.' ... That sounds like something the true person would say. Did he not know about the cameras? Or did he not care because he knew he'd be long gone by the time anyone looked at the video?" he gave it some more thought "But he's a contractor; he's got no reason to stay on this ship any longer than he has to. And a professional diver; he probably has his own boat. But I could start tracking down information."
"Or just relax in this room. I sure could relieve some stress." he thought "But Sgt. Sweet said that he might send someone over to give me a tour."

For the near future, there won't be any major modifications to the suit. Tom is on the ship; it doesn't have the special tank for molding the suit, and Dr. Conrad only sent Dr. Farquharson partial information.
The manual that Tom isn't sure if he should have was left back at the beach cabin, and should be in the process of being delivered to the hotel. (The book in his current bunk is an ordinary emergency procedures manual that every bunk in the ship has.)
For the near future, I'm hearing:
-Tom should ask Sgt Sweet for some camo jacket and pants, and rubber boots.
-He has some questions about possible modifications. Go to sickbay and see if he can gather some information that Dr Farquharson does know.
